Pirates and Wenches take over the Stevens Point Flowage for the 2nd Annual Snoopy Pole Classic June 11, 2006. Contestants used 3 foot Snoopy, Barbie, Tigger, Batman etc. fishing poles.

My good friend and Guiding Colleague, Dave Kinney from Rivers Plus Guiding hosted the charity event. And again I was honored to be a part of it.

It was another record breaking year with 75 contestants that fished to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network. Fisher people raised $1900.00. John and Sandy Kryshak (the new owners of Pa Pa Joes) donated the facilities, a half barrel of beer, tent and an additional $100.00 to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network, for a grand total of $2000.00. Thank you John and Sandy.

A special thanks to Mark Worzalla for donating 4 Nascar tickets for the raffles. Another special thank you to Rick and Judy Skrzypkowski from www.twinoaks.biz for the excellent job done on the trophies and also for their cash donation.

Thanks to Dave and Les Kinney for all the excellent food that was prepared.

Also, Thanks to everyone else who donated cash to help the Children’s Miracle Network.

Once again it was an excellent turn out and a great time was had by all.
